Another sold-out event for Palm Bay. After seeing the results of the initial Hits Count Target we suspected we might have a group of eager shooters. They soaked up the initial instruction and proved they had paid attention. Most had 8MOA or better groups on the first square. Kevin cleared the Redcoat in the morning and Alex cleared the Redcoat on her second attempt. By the end of the day we had shot two AQTs and everyone scored Marksman or higher. Kevin requalified with a 238. Several had scores near 190. Day one was declared a success.

Sunday, after reviewing all the skills from the previous day, we got down to business and shot three AQTs before shifting gears and experiencing the effects of gravity and wind on the 100-yard range. Back to our 25M zero for two more AQTs revealed Rifleman scores for Kevin, David, Morgan and Ron. Morgan shot the high score for the weekend with a 243 to earn his Distinguished tab. Very impressive scores were posted by Todd, Terry, Matt (209), Bill, Alex, and Jerry. You will surely earn your Rifleman patch at your next event. Matt and Morgan cleared the Redcoat on Sunday.

We had an awesome Instructor team making for a smooth running event for this old Shootboss. Burnett joined us from Iowa. He was surprised that Fall in Florida is so warm. 1GenAway was promoted to IIT2 and CodyClemonade successfully completed his Instructor Progress Check to earn his well-deserved Redhat. HUZZA!

Thanks to the students whose attention and hard work were appreciated by the instructor team. It was a pleasure to work with you and we whole-heartedly wish to see you all on our line again soon!

Thanks to The Menace for another inspiring shoot... thanks to all the Instructors and the scoring staff, they were detailed and efficient!  Matt is already planning his next shoot, he's not happy with 209  :wb:
