AAR Wright City, Mo. July 15-16

What a great weekend!  The. Folks at Benchrest Rifle Club once again demonstrated their  generosity by sponsoring this event which had 16 patriots on the line Saturday morning. There was a bit of banter about summer soldiers and we soon got down to business.  No riflemen today but several shooters were at the door.

Sunday saw all 16 shooters return plus 2 more.  The day was a rousing success with 2 new riflemen- Rob (214), Rick (218), and 2 requals -Rusty (212), and Ken (231). A thunderstorm cut us short or we would have had more riflemen.   Rick stepped up to become our newest orange hat!

Everyone persisted and made this event successful. I thank you all.

I want to thank all the Instructors who did were very helpful and supportive. 

It was my first full event [I attended a Saturday years ago] and I and my grandsons learined a lot and improved measurably. 

Looking forward to my next time.

I too had a great weekend.  I was able to improve my shooting skills, as well as make new friends that share similar passions.   

There is always room for improvement, and I definitely want to go back and shooter a higher score!
