What an awesome weekend! Of our 5 shooters, 2 were returns and one was brand new to shooting.  DT brought her 12 year old grand-daughter to the shoot and took the course with her.  DT admitted that she had been afraid of guns (she seemed comfortable with them by the end of the day Sat) and was grateful for our attention to safety.  I think we will see more of DT and grand daughter CT. We also welcomed JE who had not done much with rifles, but is an avid Cowboy Action shooter. We had 2 shooters who have attended before and shoot very well.  TP is close to the Rifleman score and is determined to score it.  I believe she will do so soon. JE (her hubby is an Orange Hat) received a Rifleman Patch with a score of 225!!!! She also cleared a Redcoat and received a Virginia State patch.  Hoozah!! 

A big thank you to our shooters and to JLevine (IIT) for all the help this weekend.  We had a Shoot Boss and IIT running the event, and the ladies stepped up to help with all the set up and clean up.  The experienced Appleseeders were very helpful with helping the less experienced attendees.  Again, a big THANK YOU MUCH!! You are an awesome group of women shooters!!!

Thanks much to Dead Ant for coming to help Sunday afternoon despite a very busy college schedule.
