Piru, CA April 22-23 AAR

Another great April 19th experience at the Piru Appleseed range! We were joined by 20 awesome Patriots and great weekend was had by all. Jec 325 and I were joined by Cal 7.62 and Kool aid. It is always great to reunite with my fellow Appleseed Instructors! We had a new Rifleman and a new Riflewoman! Alejandra shot a 210 and Joe posted both a 211 and a 212! Congratulations! We had Riflemen who had qualified previously join us in the pursuit of the coveted Distinguished patches. Alex produced multiple Rifleman scores topped by a 245! Hans posted a few Qualifiers as did Zach. Adam posted a 237. Almost got it! Hope to see you all again soon!

It was indeed a great day.  Thanks for the stories.  That 237 has been eating me up but it sure is cool knowing its in reach if I just practice more.  I'll be back before years end.

It was a great weekend with great weather and great people. It felt really good to be amongst the company of such dedicated riflemen (Bob, Kool & Adam). 

I'm just sorry I had to leave early.
My apologies to Brother Kool for not saying goodbye. 
The shooters were great bunch to work with also. 
Thanks to Hans(?) for breaking in his new compressor and accessories for me. 
For those who didn't get the coveted Rifleman patch, remember, "A rifleman persists!"
Hopefully any who found malfunctions/deficiencies in their equipment are diligently working to get it sorted out    for their next Appleseed.
And if any students out there have any questions, the Appleseed forum is a great place to ask.
I know I'm coming back.  (Hopefully the next one, WITH some bodies.) See you then.
