What an awesome weekend with a great group of patriots.  These patriots didn't let a little cold weather and snowy moments deter them from spending the weekend improving their marksmanship and learning a little more about our nation's heritage.  Eleven students (ten first timers) and three instructors joined us at Southern Minnesota Sportsmen's Club in Rochester.  By the end of the event we had christened two new rifleman and saw great improvements in everyone's scores.

Please help me congratulate:
Joe's Riflemen patch with a score of 224 followed up by second rifleman's score of 214 to prove it wasn't a fluke.
James's Riflemen patch with a score of 220 on our last AQT of the afternoon.

:F   ^:)^

A big thank you to the Southern Minnesota Sportsmen's Club for hosting us.  This is their twelfth year hosting us.

A HUGE thank you to FreedomV, Splithand, & TheDestroyer for volunteering and spending you weekend putting this event on.

And finally, thank you to the students who showed up with a teachable attitude and persevered the cold, damp weather.  You made the weekend worth it.  I hope to see each of you at an event in the near future.

And before I get a   :pics:  - here are some of the pics I took:

Great event with great students. What else can you ask for at an event.
"Cities may be rebuilt, and people reduced to poverty, may acquire fresh property, But a constitution of government once changed from freedom, can never be restored, liberty once lost, is lost forever. When the people once surrendered thier share in the legislature, and their right of defending the limitations upon the government, and of resisting every encroachment upon them, they can never regain it."
