Waco, TX March 18-19, 2023

It was a really great event in Waco this past weekend. We had a bit of a slow start on Saturday due to a new range rule but we picked up the pace and finished on time. One of the students asked if we could do another AQT after the usual end of the day since they couldn't stay for Sunday. After we mentioned to to everyone another 5 students joined him! It made for a pretty long Saturday since we finished just before 6PM. On Sunday, as is usual for the range we ended at about 3 PM after getting in another 6 AQT's.

The students did a great job of applying the lessons and of the 21 students during the weekend we had 7 new riflemen and 3 requalifications! I just realized I forgot to write down the names of all of our new riflemen to put in this post. We did get pictures though and they will follow.

Many thanks to our students it was a lot of fun to have you at the range this weekend!

Several deer topped our berm while we were shooting. Although nicely in range for a rifleman, they were not in season.  We had to call a cease fire and shew them away.

And thanks to all the instructors who came out to help. Two of them from Lubbock which is a 6 hour drive.
