What our numbers lacked, was more than offset by focus, determination and persistence.  The weather was nearly perfect in Central Florida for our post-Ian mid-October shoot.

A pair of father and sons: Kurt and Matt (with bolt-action rifles; Matt is left-handed), Joe and Daniel were our shooters on Saturday.  After Introductions, Orientation and a Safety Briefing we shot the Hits Count (Redcoat) Target which revealed that there was room for improvement.  All of the Instructors were a bit skeptical about Matt's ability to be able to manipulate the right-handed bolt action in the time limits required for the transition stages and his ability to be able to maintain NPOA.  Boy, were we wrong.  I will post a link to a video showing him successfully completing a transition stage with a unique style.  He shot a 192 on his third AQT on Saturday!.

All of the shooters showed tremendous improvement on Saturday and again on Sunday.

On Sunday John joined us as a shooter and there were special guest appearances by Bruce (9mm4545) and Janet (RamboGranny) [who were still unable to reoccupy their home due to flooding from Ian.]

While there were no new riflemen, John requalified multiple time with both rimfire and centerfire.

All of the instructors were very impressed with the attitude and determination of the shooters.

The pictures from the event will follow shortly if I can get IMGUR to work...
