Cooler by the lake, well Mother Nature had different ideas this weekend at Wolf Creek Pistol Clinic.  She decided that we needed to be really wet and to top it off, NO power.

Saturday 6 pistol shooters arrived to start the journey to Pistoleer™s.  Their journey proved to be eventful for all our shooters.

Saturday was a morning of new ideas, techniques, and practice.  The local weather was being observed often so that the group could stay ahead of mother natures down pour that was about to descend on the area.  Well, our timing was almost perfect, just finished a PQT, red coat and pulled the backers in time to get into the club house for closing.

Our shooters consisted of a mix of 3 guys and 3 gals, and the gals being new, excelled in improvement. Our first Pistoleer™ of the weekend went to Lori at a 214, but on Sunday she didn't stop, she repeated with higher scores.

Sunday morning was Mother Nature downpour that delayed our start of the day, but also included 5 hours of power outage, good thing mother nature gave us daylight.

With a break in the heavy rain, the team hung backers, raised the canopies, and set out first red coat.  Followed by sighters and getting the kinks worked out from the day before.

Rain finally subsided and we were able to put together our COF on multiple PQT's.  By the end of the day, our ladies showed they had what it took, and our guys were right with them.  Mandy put in the high score of the day at a 221, with Chico at a 220, Mike with a 219 and "Gritty" at 210.  Yes, Gritty was christened with the ice-cold water from the North Bridge.  John just missed at 203, having had misfire issues.

Thanks to Wolf Creek and the team of instructors that made this a SAFE enjoyable weekend. Slowbutsure, Chico, & Joe.  Also, Joe & Gena from the club & AS team members provided us with food both days.  thank you.

Wolf Creek Pistol Clinic had more than PQT target events.
Our shooter achievements were outstanding.  We had beginners thru experienced.  Every practice routine showed improvements.

Saturday started with basics and many questions.  The entire cadre worked together with each other, helping & suggesting methods.  Results were taking low hits counts to top scoring for the weekend.

Our fun event, pistol speed tree, double elimination, paired a beginner shooter against an experienced shooter.  Results, Kassie took on double elimination and beat out all competitors.  Our experience shooter tried to analyze what she might do, and he was not prepared for Kassie's accuracy. Down he went.  Congratulation to Kassie.

Our two experience shooters tried everything from center fire to Buckmarks.  The Buckmarks prevailed.  They both scored Pistoleer™s and were very happy to have chosen the Buckmarks.

A great time was had by all.  Liberty, Freedom was the final chapter, and all are committed to help get the word out.   Thanks for your support!
