Four shooters, with no prior Appleseeds under their belts came out for a very humid and hot day of marksmanship and history.  At least half were new to their equipment.

With bits of cloud cover, intermittent showers, and then pure sun and heat to finish the day, our cadre of shooters applied their new skills.  As the day went on, scores increased markedly, as each student got more comfortable with their technique and equipment.  Many students were observed consulting the target analysis section of their handout to self diagnose their performance.  Everyone enjoyed themselves, as evidenced by the requests to continue as long as possible, and so it was a long day had by all.
