Despite the crazy weather, ( shooters persisted and learned the skills of the Rifleman.

Was it going to snow, rain, hail or just blow everything that wasn't staked down around?  The weather was violent with brief moments of sun.  Despite the weather causing challenges, the shooters were determined to learn about April 19th 1775 and compete for a rifleman patch!

(6) of the ( students were new to shooting, half of those new students were youth shooters.
(2) Repeat offenders brought family members for the first time.
The Top AQT Shooter was 217 by a 13-year old attending his first Appleseed! 
One of our repeat offenders shot his first Rifleman score with a 210 and his wife (new to AS) shot a 207!

Natural-Point-of-Oreo with Ball & Oreo mixed in was a very successful drill to help the students improve their shooting!

We gave away the following:
(10) Guides to becoming Rifleman & Liberty-seed bookmarks to the ( shooters and (2) visitors.
(2) Isaac Davis patches to repeat offenders for bringing new students to the event.
(3) William Diamond patches to the (3) youth who shot safely and persisted all weekend.
(2) Rifleman patches/certificates to the youth and repeat offender who both qualified for the first time!
(1) IIT Contract to the repeat offender who qualified!

I hope everyone enjoyed the event as much as I did! I look forward to seeing everyone again on the Appleseed Trail!

We had a great time! The kids are already asking when we can go back. I am amazed at your patience. You are the best instructors around! I must correct you, Bill, Caleb is a new 12 year old. Had his 12th birthday at the beginng of March.
