And another fun weekend doing some shooting.

We had 10 shooters out. The weather cooperated at least. This has been the wettest May I've ever seen here in Texas. And coolest too. Friday evening it rained like heck. Serious flooding around here with one creek getting up the 22 feet. Had some calls asking if it was still on. Of course. Rain or shine.

Everybody showed up Saturday. It was muddy. Boots felt like 10 pounds each. No prob though. At least it didn't rain Saturday although the forecast said it was supposed to. It got so hot and humid we almost hoped that it would rain. It actually got sunny and so we all got burnt.

BUT - it was a good time. We had two new riflemen and lots of requals for the instructors.

Josh, SoapCreeker, from Iowa, was down on Saturday. And he did his state proud and shot expert. Nice to meet you.

And Nick, one of our new IITs, shot expert too. Good going Nick.

Reddot, one of our retired Senior instructors, showed up on Sunday. I was so dang happy to see him. He's one of my best friends. Just love the guy.

We did the 'Morgans Shingle' on Sunday after the range estimation class. About half the class hit it. Good going.
