Dubuque, Iowa - Apr2021

We had a fantastic weekend in Dubuque with a total of nine patriots showing up to learn the history of April 19th, 1775 along with rifle marksmanship skills. The mornings started out a little chilly but the temperature rose and we ended up with fantastic weather both days.

I'm proud to announce we have two new riflemen! Congratulations to Mike who shot a couple of 244's with his bolt action rifle to earn both his rifleman and distinguished patches. Congratulations to Eric for shooting a 214 and a 226 to earn his rifleman patch.

Everyone showed great improvement and a couple more people were knocking on the door to becoming a rifleman. Kudos to our youth participants. Abe, Cole, Kaialani, Halia, and Jack all showed great persistence and determination the entire weekend. With a little more practice I'm confident they will soon become riflemen.

Thank you Rex, James and Brian for a great weekend. My boys and I had a blast and will be back so they can have another go at getting their Rifleman Badges!
