Five folks met last weekend at a small range outside of Staunton VA to learn the history of April 19th, 1775 along with the American heritage of marksmanship.

Saturday started wet, very wet, but that didn't deter the 5 patriots (though we did slow roll the start of things a bit and consume some hot cocoa).  The first red coat was not very promising, except for the red coats.  Then into instruction.  Lunch break was hamburgers  from the grill and the First strike of the match.  Later that day we got into AQTs.  Sunday started with more instruction and a few courses of fire at squares targets, then into AQTs.  After two AQTs we put up NPoO targets (Natural Point of Oreo).  Four of the five shooters got their Oreos!  Amazing!  Then more AQTs.  Lunch included history and great questions.  The final red coat of the weekend was much improved from the first and would worry me if I were a red coat.

We finished with dangerous old men, and John Adam's quote to posterity.  A great weekend.
