The weather forecast was awful! The soothsayers at the Weather Channel said a high probability of thunderstorms all day, both Saturday and Sunday. Nevertheless, everyone who had signed up showed up. Our founders would have been proud. In the end we had some rain (especially hard first thing Sunday morning), but overall both days were sunny.
We had a great group, ranging in age from 13 through the 50's. All shooters worked especially diligently, and the results showed. We had two distinguished rifleman re-qualifications, and one new rifleman (first time Appleseeder).
I was fortunate to have terrific, experienced instructors. NeilR and BrightEyes kept the event running smoothly, and kept me straight. Laertes did his usual super job modeling, clearing the line, and helping shooters. Thank you all!
