Ramseur, NC, Pistolseed, AAR, Oct 31- Nov 1, 2026

What a fantastic weekend, but then again every Appleseed weekend is fantastic. We had 12 fine Americans join us for the inaugural pistolseed at Ramseur's newly constructed pistol range. The range is awesome, many thanks to all that put so much work into making this a first class facility.

The weather was perfect and the shooters all brought their A game. We started with some history and moved quickly through drills to determine each shooter's skill level. It was clear we had a great deal of experience on the line. While most were great shooters when they arrived we did help with the small things that make a huge difference in marksmanship.

At weekends close we discovered four new pistoleers. James shot a 215 on day one with a high score of 216, Raymond, from Alaska shot a 216 day one with a high score of 219, Misty shot a 210 on day one with a high score of 223 and Tucker shot the high score of the event with a 228. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and I think everyone learned a few things, I know I did.

I want to thank the instructors RilosRed, Bulldog14 and JustKim, they did a fantastic job keeping everything moving. It was a real honor being the shoot boss for this event and I can't wait to do it again.
