QD sling attachment for M&P Sport 15?

I am the proud owner of a new stock M&P Sport 15, with the standard fixed sling swivel(s). How do I convert the fixed front sling swivel to a quick detach sling swivel? (photo attached)

First you would need to change the handgrips. To one with a rail system. Them attach the QD swivel to that.

If all you want is the ability to quickly remove the sling from the rifle... consider picking up an extra J hook and using it instead of looping the sling through the existing hardware.  Easy on - easy off.
