Palm Bay, Florida, PMRPC AAR After Action Report October 20-21, 2018

Wow.
We Started out shooting well, and things just got better and better.   :beer:
On the first day, Maddie and Bill were mastering the correct position and figuring out their rifle issues - swapping and adjusting until things started lining up.  It's so nice to see dad and daughter try so hard together and have fun making memories and honing their skills.  Bill worked so hard and did very, very well.   Hooray for Mattie shooting the Shingle Shot on the last day!   :---    :~     :bow:
Bob's first question was, "when can I set up my tripod?"  He quickly learned the correct positions and was making one inch squared with not only a teachable attitude, but a lot of natural skill relying on body geometry.  He is knocking at the door to earn that rifleman patch.  Good effort!   ..:..
Shirley and Sandra both had their share of mechanical issues, not to mention the whole getting up and down thing.  They are both hard workers and definitely made super progress and mastered their rifles.  Shirley came from a pistol shooting background and had not touched a rifle since she was a kid.  She made good tight groups on iron sights.  Good shooting, Shirley.  Sandra shot a 209 (close one) and 4 Rifleman scores 216, 218, 225, and 231.  Super well done, earning her patch and taking an orange hat on her fourth Appleseed.
Dan had scored Rifleman at a previous AS and shot well both days.  He scored both Saturday and Sunday, earning yet another patch as well as an orange hat.  Huzzah!   ..:..  Kyla was a little jewel who arrived not knowing about the rifle and struggling all day Saturday, but coming back and conquering on Sunday to not only become proficient, but to score a 170 and not need any help.  Her positive attitude was contagious and was encouraging to other shooters.  Hallie was a return Appleseed shooter.  Her good shooting form and warm, lovely smile were enjoyed by all.  She is a super shooter and will soon score Rifleman because her positions look great.  Make sure you come back, Hallie, because you are getting very close.  Well done and good efforts.  As far as the staff, I really enjoyed working with some new to me instructors, BlindDog and Bear Arms.  Well done to you both.  BD, Thanks for sharing your visual aids and photo skills.  And BA, thanks for sharing your birthday with us! Whoo Hoo!  :birthday:   SWOFO gave us all the good Dangerous old men and women and did it very well.  Maid Marian was so much fun to be with.  Her calmness is much appreciated and her story telling rocks.  RiflemanRose can call the line so well, and she, too, is so much fun.  Thanks for making memories with me, dear one.
Thank you for the support of TheMenace, and Sieggie.  Without the help of the entire team, our combined success could not have been achieved.  Thank you very much all for a great time.   Heidiheidi SB     :F   Whoo Hoo!

The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed -- where the government refuses to stand for reelection and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees*. However improbable these contingencies may seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once.

I'm just guessing here------Port Malabar Rifleman's Proficiency Clinic ????????  ::)
A moral compass provides a basis for making decisions; an action is good or bad, right or wrong when viewed in the light of the individual's moral bearing. If no moral compass exists for the individual, then decisions and actions are made on the basis of purely subjective thoughts. This leads to "If it makes me happy, or makes me feel good, or if it's something I simply want to do, then it is right and good."
