Summer time has arrived! We got off to a slow start on Saturday addressing a few problems with rifle configurations. After a great strike II from Just Kim and a short break for lunch the pace picked up and we got back on track. All shooters demonstrated marked improvement on the one AQT we got in and the PM red coat. Sunday we got down to business, we were on the AQT grind by 10:30 completing 9 by end of day. We got some stories in during hydration breaks and even shot the brown bess. Congratulations Paul, Hurlburt's newest rifleman and to Mark, Annah, Amanda, Pete, James, Charles, James, Michael, Peyton and Karson for their remarkable improvement. We hope to see you all back again so you too can earn your rifleman's patch.
I would also like give a big THANK YOU to Just Kim, Duane, Wacky, Stan, Kayla and Tim, you made my job easy.

Thanks to all the volunteers that made this weekend possible.  I learned so much.  I'm now shopping for a scope for my AR, as well as a 10/22 setup.  Please forward me any pictures from the event.  I really enjoyed shooting with everyone!

Another great Appleseed event at the Hurlburt Field Rifle and Pistol Club -We had an awesome group of shooters who all came with teachable attitudes proven by the vast improvements made by all.  Congratulations to Paul on your rifleman patch--What a great accomplishment for your first Project Appleseed.  I met a great group of people this weekend and had a great time.  I look forward to seeing everyone again.  Chuck and the instructor staff did a great job and made sure everyone received great instruction. :snipersmi
It's not about perfection -- it's about progress!!

I LOVE this stuff!

"Perhaps you and I have lived with this miracle too long to be properly appreciative. Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again" Ronald Reagan
