Wow - nice fall weather (overcast, usual wind, but only sprinkles for the whole weekend).
This was the first Appleseed on the new Wyoming Tactical range in Casper.  Our only pre-registered shooter was our host, Jason from WyoTac.  He spent most of Saturday using his 10/22 (with stock trigger, Chuck!) and trying to get his new red dot to work.  He finally switched to his AR and shot much better, then on Sunday he put a scope back on his Ruger and shot a 221.  Congratulations, Jason.
Instructors olfartoo, Wildman and MarathonGirl all requalified: Barb with a 213, Erich with a 220 with their ARs, and John with a 238 with his bolt Ruger 22!  Congrats to all.
Congratulations to Barb.  She persisted and is now a full Instructor!
I was somewhat disappointed that we did not have more shooters - especially after publicising the event on Facebook, Wyoming Mancave and Craigslist.  However we did have an 100% success rate in make Riflemen!
We did have one visitor, James, who had previously attended Appleseeds, but was unable to shoot due to neck problems.  Thanks for stopping by, James, & good luck with your diagnosis.
Thank you, WyoTac and Jason personally for taking an interest in Project Appleseed and making this venue available.  Your desire to learn something different from your usual firearms instruction and to persist and your keen interest in the history encourages us all.
We appreciate your support and look forward to working with you in the future.  Thank you also for firing up your grill and cooking us hamburgers on both days.
Thank you Instructors for your support and persistence.  ON to 2018!
