A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks.

Had a blast! Two days of fantastic rifle instruction and history by Norm and his staff. Sherry did a fine job of registration, AQT scoring, and photography. Norm and his staff of Joe, Kurt, Mike, and Justin briefed us on safety and the fundamentals of marksmanship.

As a new shooter, it was satisfying when all the technigues that were taught began to click for me. I began to breath properly, and was able to see my front sight fall as I took a breath, and then return to my natural POA as I exhaled. Bang!

Thanks Guys for great instruction and enjoyable experience.

Glad everyone had a good time.
Amazing to see so many patches earned. Great job!
See you in April.
"Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined.... The great object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able might have a gun."
- Patrick Henry, Speech to the Virginia Ratifying Convention, June 5, 1778
