It was a fantastic weekend for a Project Appleseed event in Bowie, MD. The weather was beautiful and Berwyn Rod & Gun Club were most excellent hosts at their very nice facility. Special thanks to the club officers and members who make us feel so welcome.

We had a nice mix of repeat Appleseeders and first timers. It was also nice to have our two youth shooters, Thomas and Patrick, who shot very well and were engaged with the heritage lessons. We had two shooters obtain Rifleman scores. Congrats to Richard and Gary. They are Maryland's 198th and 199th Riflemen. I really wish we could have crowned number 200 but it wasn't to be. I really thought it was going to happen as every student in attendance was right there. To them, remember that a Rifleman persists! You can do it!

In closing, thanks to all of the students who came out. I hope to see you again along with a friend or family member.
