 A small but enthusiastic group arrived for the one day shoot at N.Berwick R&G club this past Saturday. The day proved decent weather wise with the rain holding off until late afternoon. It proved very well for the shooters in attendance.

Early on the RC count was showing some solid competence by those on the line. The fundamentals were taught and getting reinforced throughout the morning and after lunch positions were taught along with cadence and the intro to the AQT.

By afternoon's end we achieved 3 rifleman! Bob, fired a 217 during the later AQT. Dave, a repeat attendee, got his with a 219 and Bob achieved it with a 211 and backed it up with a 215.

Several others did extremely well scoring in the 170-180 range and Alan closed in on it with a 206. All showed improvement throughout the day.

A big thanks goes to the North Berwick Rod and Gun club. The club did a great job promoting and having the range ready. We fired the event on a new range that has been built for IDPA events and it was perfect for a one day 25m event. We look forward to events there in the future.

Kirk, aka Devil_Dog95, made his first shoot as an IIT, doing the demos and encouraging those who needed it. It is good to see some new IT's in the works in Maine.

Great first experience as an IIT.  A day on the range can be tiring, but it's never been work.  Thanks to the shooters, Tom and our host the North Berwick club!
