We had a great shoot.  Rodge did a great job of telling the first strike (his first time too). Don's presentations were great the basics as they are meant to be. Our group of shooters were very engaged and asking questions during instructions and after the strikes. A very safe group too only once all day did we have to ask a shooter back to the line to make a rifle safe.

Don and Karen are the perfect hosts, even had apples for us at lunch. Karen handled registration and paperwork and shirt distibution also greatly appreciated. With the exception of it being windy they did a great job of ordering the weather too.

Two of our shooters were students and one is very excited about earning a patch and becoming an IIT. We had some seasoned shooters also with 2 rifleman on the line. I think we will be having at least 4 of these shooters coming back in June at our next scheduled shoot there.

As the "acting" shoot boss I couldn't have asked for a better group of instructors or students.

Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday. John Wayne
