It was an honor and privilege to have this outstanding group of folks out for our April 19th Appleseed. I cannot emphasize enough how well our younger shooter did at this Appleseed.  I hope everyone enjoyed our Memorial Volley, we had Matt on Garand, Doug on a Springfield 1903A3, Carol on an AR Service Rifle, Spud on the M14/M1A , Greg on M1 Carbine, Josh on a Springfield Model 1888 Trapdoor. Everyone else joined in with the rifles they brought. The Patriots that gave their lives at Lexington and Concord April 19th 1775 were well remembered in Amite, Louisiana. A big thanks to all who participated.

You can tell I'm new to this, I forgot to thank "The Crew" Lawdog, Isleno1963, WBridgeman, OntheMark, and our newest Orange Hat, MandyMonstar  without them I would not have made it though the Day. Thanks for the help and your patience.

A big welcome to our first Lady Orange Hat,  thanks for stepping up.

For the Memorial Volley, geeck provided a half dozen vintage military rifles (and ammo).  Various shooters got the special honor of shooting the Volley with those rifles.  Thank you, geeck.  The Volley was incredible.
