After a chilly start on Saturday morning the shooters and the shooting rapidly warmed up at the Big 3 Hunt Club. This was an inaugural event at this venue and I have to say that is was quite successful. The host could not have been more hospitable and the range was well laid out and organized. With a eager group of shooters--some experienced and some not--we quickly covered the basics of rifle marksmanship and started seeing group sizes decrease. From the first Redcoat to the final AQT, the safety of our shooters was exceptional and with steady improvement by all, the instructors felt well paid for their efforts.

Our newest Riflemen was Justin while Jim showed that he has not lost his touch with a re-qualification. If I could figure out how to post video I will put up the movie of Justin firing a celebratory volley with the venerable M1 Garand at the conclusion of the event. For now, still photos...
