The first day is in and what a day it was! While the weather started off a bit chilly, it was quite comfortable after lunch. We only had 4 shooters, all repeat Appleseeder's, but they really absorbed the instruction. We ended up so far ahead of schedule that we fit in 4 AQTs!

I was left wondering where the controls are to turn up the firehose! >:D I am really looking forward to tomorrow!

Day two is now in the books, I look forward to the pictures I know the other instructors were taking.

After having such great shooters all weekend which didn't miss the backers once, we decided to find out how much punishment the fiberglass electric fence posts I was using would take before having a structural failure. Here is a picture of the result, with our intrepid 2-day youth shooter.

We fired 38 shots at this just under 1.5 MOA width target and had 23 hits before it fell down. There was at least one direct hit which left enough on either side of the hole for it to remain standing.
