Marlin 25N

Looking to prepare my old Marlin 25N for Appleseed events.
It's currently stock with 7 shot magazine, no studs, swivels or sling.
Would appreciate any suggestions on what and where to procure any necessary items.
Located in Southern New Jersey so local vendors would be a plus.

MidwayUSA.com or Brownells.com would be among my first stops.  Be sure to get a couple of extra magazines.  The Appleseed store has the slings, be sure when you buy swivels (elsewhere) to get 1.25 inch QD (quick disconnect) type.

I have a Marlin 25. Most sporting goods stores will carry the sling studs. They are like wood screws that screw into the stock. 1.25" swivels may have to be ordered but check your local stores first.

The slings,  can be purchased through the Appleseed store. The slings, studs and swivels can also be found at Midway and other places. I bought mine at CDNN on line,  Catch them on the weekend for cheaper flat rate shipping.

The sights on the 25 are a bit tough for Appleseed, you might want to consider a scope or some sort of rear peep sight.
