Well I know I'm cluttering up the boards here with all sorts of crazy things that go through my mind, but hopefully they are worth while.  Anyway, I thought it'd be neat to start a thread where we could talk about what we are doing in regards to the seventh step...  I'll start it off, and hopefully this thread won't die, because that would mean that we have stopped working on our seventh step!

Today I took my CHL (CCDW) class and I wore my Appleseed shirt proudly   ;D While at the range (Spring Valley) I started talking to a guy who came to shoot and was waiting for a booth.  I proceeded to tell him about AS and he seemed interested... he said he saw my shirt and was curious.  He ended up taking a picture of my shirt (didn't want to break his camera phone) and sounded positive.

Back at the classroom, over a break, I was reading Patriots, the men who started the revolution.  One guy commented on it and we started talking.  Ten minutes and one tri-fold later he sounded excited!  While I was at it, I also handed another tri-fold to another guy... he said he wanted to take his kids!  Woohoo and Hazah!   ^:)^

Major Break through, went to my local VFW. Talked to the Commander during an officers meeting, and after much convincing, that I was not after there money and was not there to overthrow the Government. He invited me as guest speaker, for the 4th of July.

Indiana Appleseed:  Farm Bred, Brass Fed

Lord make me fast and accurate. Let my aim be true, and my hands faster than those who would seek to destroy me.  Grant me victory over my foes, and those  that wish to do harm to me and mine. Let not my last thought be if I only had my Gun; and Lord if today is truly the day that you take me home, let me die in a pile of empty brass.

I was waiting on getting some copies run off at Office Depot today. While waiting and looking at the computers I left the browsers on Project Appleseed.
