We had a small but dedicated group last weekend. 4 shooters and 1 observer an Saturday, and 2 returning shooters on Sunday. Wynn and Lori drove 2-1/2 hours from the Central Coast and toughed it out for most of the weekend. By Sunday afternoon the shooters were dragging so we finished up a bit early. Mike returned looking for his patch, and he's getting closer. Now that he has his ROC it's only a matter of time. Jesse had a good shoot and wants to come back with his brother.

Thanks to Towed Jumper and Binary Bro for helping out with the instruction. See you on the trail.

We're surrounded...that simplfies the problem.

What a great appleseed here in the Central Valley of California!  We had 4 attendees and one new orange hat with two of those attendees coming from 2 and a half hours away!

We of course have a lot of pull with the Navy over here in Lemoore and managed to get the Blue Angels to give an airshow on the same weekend over our heads!  Great fun!  Of course, the downside with the airshow was trying to keep everybody's rifle's pointed in a safe direction when a particularly nice formation came overhead (ok, so I give up.  They are all nice, and this is coming from an Army vet.  Makes you wonder if you will ever see something so perfect again).  The tendency was for everybody to turn and look, which of course is bad with rifles in hand   :---  !@#)    Good training while calling the line!    ~~:)

Thanks Garand56 for arranging the Airshow!  That guy has some crazy connections!

Seems like the black-hearted devils are everywhere."  -- Entry from a German Officer's diary captured during the battle of Anzio
