Old Dog

Federal bulkpack stuff from WalMart.  Black Dog magazines.

First round ejected the empty but failed to lock the trigger back.  After that it worked flawlessly.

Groups are about 2" low and centered at 20 yds.  First group had 4 bullets tearing a triangular shaped hole with the the other 3 spaced less than 1/2" off the hole (one on each side and one above).  Groups were fired with me sitting on an old wooden bench leaning one leg up against dad's 61 Chevy Bel Air (too wet to lay down in the leaves and shoot in shorts and t-shirt).

Worked great.  I may buy one for my Mini14 just to have it in case my oldest son ever decides he wants that rifle.
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."
