After not being able to do the hasty or hasty hasty slings with my 10/22 because of the fat plastic rear swivel on the Tapco Intrafuse stock, I called up Tapco for a fix.  They said basically that I was out of luck.   >:(

Fortunately, I found a solution.  The rear swivel is too fat for the sling clip to go over because of being made of plastic, so I swapped out my rear swivel with my metal swivel from my Bushmaster M4 Type carbine.  Tada!   ^:)^

Better yet, I called up Bushmaster and was able to order more for $5.50 each.  O0

Here is the ordering info:
Bushmaster: 800-883-6229 - Customer Service for ordering parts - must navigate menus to get to it
Rear sling loop for 6-position telestock Part # - 844-8652

Hope this helps out,

Steve,

For same reason, been replacing MUCHO swivels on tapco 10/22 and SKS stocks for several years with M14 rear swivels from Numrich Gun Parts Corp.I'm sure you discovered that the Tapco screw is the correct thread already.

Was also installing M14 front swivels to said stocks, but Numrich is now out of them

M1 Garand rear sling swivels should be the same.  I put one on an AR15 carbine stock a couple of years ago to replace that ugly/unusable plastic swivel.

For anyone who wants to do this, I found that a heavy File known as a Rasp really helps to open up the slot to put the M1 rear swivel into. Sand paper will do but it takes too long a Rasp makes short work of this job, Just keep checking the fit, of the Swivel.

For the sling, I put in a front stud like Nemo did and just ran the sling backwards throught the big Tapco rear swivel.  Works great.

I you haven't bought a tapco stock yet.  The ATI stocks have a standard quick detach sling stud.

I too found I had to replace my rear sling swivel for my Tapco because the original is too thick to use with a sling clip.

I used the DPMS from Midway for $4.  Works very well.
