Reckon that I won't step on any toes by posting a few pics of the Rising Fawn shoot here on the forum and starting the ball rolling for the AAR.

That is if I can post pics... Not a forum issue, a computer issue.

Have to do this, this is a pic of the vinyl tile I put down 4th of July weekend to enable me to IIT at the shoot, and a pic of my darling cat Sunday July 10. I was home and she was happy.

What a fantastic weekend.  Through scorching heat, the shooters maintained high spirits and high marksmanship.

We had two riflemen, David and Ben.  His third Appleseed, David also had the distinction of cleaning two redcoat targets on Saturday!  His father, Rick, had previously shot Rifleman in Florida and graciously stepped up, took the orange hat, and helped us run the shoot.  Our other rifleman, Ben, was also our generous host at this range.  He, his wife Jill, and daughter Regan are owed a debt of gratitude for their support in making this weekend such a success.

This shoot had a number of young shooters, all showing maturity and ability far beyond their years.  Zeke, Justin, and Griff were a real pleasure to work with.

Thank you all for coming out and we hope to have you back at another Appleseed!

TNColonel took a ton of pictures during this event.

TNColonel - Do you plan to post these?  Would be great to show everyone how successful this event was!

Taking advantage of a scheduling anomaly on the homefront I was able to attend Saturday's shoot and had a great Appleseed experience for the second time. I was also awarded the "you drove how far to come here?!" award.

Glad to hear Ben acquired his patch on Sunday and want to thank him again for hosting the event. I had the pleasure of being mat neighbors with David and appreciate him helping me read my targets. I want to note he scored Rifleman with a bolt action rifle. Talk about perfecting NPOA!

Between David's advice and TravelPatriot's instruction I scored "sharpshooter" for the first time. With some dedication I'll have a Rifleman's patch in no time. :)

Last but not least, I enjoyed the instructors' engaging storytelling of the day Americans demanded their natural rights to self govern and rejected tyranny. It was a day that would - literally - change the history of the entire world.

I have a few pics I took until I saw TNColonel was taking the role of photographer. I've attached them.

Great first Appleseed event at Rising Fawn, GA.  Special thanks to range owner Ben (he shot Rifleman) and his wife Jill for hosting the clinic on their range.  Kudos to Shaftoe for his excellent performance on his second SBIT, and special thanks for all the IITs who turned out to make this event possible.  Group photos of the participants and the instructors are attached.
