Another great weekend at Slippery Rock Sportsman Club!  The weather was great, the range is great, the lunches were great, but, most importantly, the students were great!  Three Riflemen returned and brought friends, and two return Appleseeders continued the quest for their patch.  One student came all the way from Indiana (via West Virginia)!

The students picked up on the Points of Instruction so rapidly that this became one of the highest round-count events in western PA Appleseed history.  One returning Rifleman fired a personal best score, and then sort of tapered off as the weekend progressed.  When we were clearing the line Sunday afternoon he found that his scope mounts had worked loose!  Two or three other shooters were on the threshold, but couldn't quite get through the door.

MrHappy brought some props from Ohio to add a little spice to his Heritage presentation, and wvmmfalcon brought a new shooter from West Virginia.

Thanks to Slippery Rock Sportsman Club for hosting the event.  There were a lot of comments from the shooters and instructors about what a fine facility it is.
