Another anniversary indeed...

Dr Warren was lost that day, but not Timothy Pickering.   He lived until 1829 after serving a Quartermaster, Sec of War, Sec of State and recommending the founding of the US Military Academy at West Point.

The British Major Pitcairn was killed with a head shot by Peter Salem, a black American patriot (some sources report a chest shot).
