When the South, Met the North

Everything came together at the center of NY State, Yep, Fred was here,,, We listened to how he envisions the program in the future and how we can go about making that future happen,,, Alot of good topics were brought up, dissected and analyzed to great extent,,, So many things were discussed that it will be an AIBC to reflect back on for a while to come,,, glad we took notes,,,,
The weather was starting to become a typical NY winter,,, blowing snow, people feeling the bite of what we take for granted up here in the north country,,, But we had a nice heated club house to relax in, plenty of coffee, it is nice to get together and meet our fellow instructors that we have not seen in a while and the new ones that have come into the program in recent weeks, months and the past year.
Fred being the one that came the furthest, and most,, anywhere from 20mins, to 6hrs away, and got here safely using those GPS Modulators, which will get you lost around here,,, but they were on a mission to help save this country, so we all prevailed...
Got a chance to do a little hunting Friday morning with Josey Wales and VietVet then those of us that were here real early, Josey Wales and VeitVet and Another D.O.M.,  helped me get the club house cleaned for the arrival of our Instructors and Fred,,,
As far as the details of the topics, that is Top Secret, They can only be learnt when you sit with Fred in a classroom for a weekend, but the real truth is this,,,,,,,,,,,,

Be, Know and Do,,,,, the right things in this program and be the person that you would want to have in front of you, teaching what the founding fathers wanted us to have,,, a good life in this country,,,,
We must not let the destructive emotions get in our way of doing a good job in this program, Ego, disrespect, power tripping, and all the other things that keep people from performing at their best, must be put to a trash can before the range comes into view,,,, and if we do that enough, that garbage can will be put to curb in all aspects of our lives, and we as Instructors and we as individuals will improve as well as Improve this program to a level of great respect through out this country,,,
The AIBC is a great way for All Instructors to get a heads up on how to be proficient and efficient from their start of the A.S. journey,,, I am glad to see that we had 100% of attendance of preregs (23),,,,,
Team Northeast, came, listened and now can take back to their areas of operations the valuable information and insight from Fred that he wishes to have exploited in this program,,,
Thank You Fred for coming to our part of the country, and Thank You to all the Instructors for a great time and a chance to meet you all,,,

There really is no secret to anything in this program, other than, having a desire to be the best at what we do in this program...

Another D.O.M.

Thanks sgtrock for getting this started - and for your efforts in making this first ever AIBC with Fred a success!

It was good to get together with some old AS friends and to make new ones.  There was a great volume of talent and knowledge in that clubhouse this weekend; and our two days w/ Appleseed's founder - learning how he would like the program to move forward from this point, sharing ideas, and laying the groundwork for NY & PA Appleseed as we advance ever more aggressively into the coming years - are invaluable.

Sorry, no pictures of this event.  You'll all have to wait for kDan's video footage if you need some visuals.

The real details are contained within the IAAR, so if you're looking for the secrets that's where you'll find 'em.
