Oxford Range

I just noticed Oxford come back online with 2 shoots scheduled.  Fantastic!

Does that mean Joe is feeling better?  He has got to be the nicest guy in the world, and just impossible to say no to. 

I will do my best to get back down to Oxford this year.

That's great we are working on a few close to you too..Sure enjoyed the land owners range ..I'll try to bring a few pieces of steel if he still wants them? Well look for a few of us to come to that one.He sure did keep the grass nice and short for camping too..

Yeah, it was great to see those shoots pop up... good news on what it means for Joe's situation too, I hope.  Does this also mean that DAD is gonna be back on the trail?  I know he was the main one in contact with Joe.  I'll come up and help out with an Oxford shoot or 2, as long as we don't have stuff going on in Oklahoma during those times.  I haven't seen anyone from the Kansas bunch for a while!

While I cannot attest to Joe's physical well being, I do know he has the mind a soul of a Rifleman.  Without Joe, we may not be as far along in the state of Kansas as we are now.  I can say without hesitation that Joe was instrumental in laying that first year foundation of Kansas Appleseed.

I hope to see y'all from OK, (and MO) as you too were a part of laying that foundation. 

This is a great place to shoot.  Joe keeps the range grass short like a putting green.

Yep, Joe was a big part of laying the foundation for the Oklahoma program too... I was able to move up the IIT ladder very quickly last summer because of the frequent shoots out at his place.  I know OG got a couple promotions out there, too.  We probably wouldn't have any Shoot Bosses in Oklahoma if it wasn't for our friend Joe.  Everyone in Appleseed owes him bigtime.

Sure was it kinda of the birth place for the Kansas layout so plz come out guyz show Joe we thank him for all he's done...And it was a 100 year old mill too lots of history there why not keep making more Appleseed style..seeya soon guyz and bring some over head covers for the shooters it will get very warm fast..lol my neck still burns from the last time i went there lol but I am a redneck they say ..

I shot my rifleman score there.  It will be nice to be there again this summer.

First place I shot at an AS.....I'll be there in August, don't know about September yet. Should be a good time!

My Dad and Myself are coming up this year again.  I am looking forward to the next weekend.  Sept 25 and 26. I shot my first appleseed here last year, and am looking forward to the second here also.

I won't be there on Saturday. I am going up to Kansas City to hear Lt. Col David Grossman speak. If you have not read any of his work, you need to! If you only read one thing of his, read; "On Combat".

Come on up OG.  We may be a little light on instructors, but you can still shoot.  I may have to make my 12yo RSO for the day.  Let me tell you he was excited to hear that.  He can't stop asking me questions about clearing the line.
