As usual, the Ethan Allen Firing Range provided an unparalleled venue for Appleseed. From the astonishing downpours Friday night (is this required?), to the packed firing line for the final 600 yard volley, this was a most enjoyable event. My boys and I feel privileged to have been a part of this one. What a great bunch of shooters. Better than a third of them made rifleman! Sat. a.m. redcoat-100yd/50%, 200yd/42%, 300yd/25%, 400yd/25%, head/0%. Sun. a.m. redcoat-100yd/88%, 200yd/75%, 300yd/50%, 400yd/50%, head/25%. No Sunday p.m. redcoat, as that 600yd range was calling and every target was assigned for the KDAQT. Thanks to the New England instructors who turned out. You guys make it easy. It was great to see you all, and to get to meet a few new members of Appleseed New England. Can you believe there were a few no shows? ++) Looking forward to next time!

Ahh, the downpour.  I almost forgot.  Just in time for me to crash the party in Ninsho's hotel room.   ^:)^

Check your drama at the door.

Nothing quite like watching 19 shooters on the 600 yard line, all ready to go. 10 rounds, less than 2 minutes.
They have men amongst them who know very well what they are about, having been employed as Rangers against the Indians and Canadians and this country being much covered with wood, and hilly, is very advantageous for their method of fighting. . . . ".  Lord Percy

Sounds like New Englanders to me.
