-as currently being sold by Sportsman's Guide, AIM Surplus and several other outlets. Anyone got any experience with this ammo? The photos look good, at least.

Is it Berdan primed? What I saw was Berdan primed and I did not think it was a very good price if I could not reload the brass.

Yes, it's Berdan- but it's available for approximately 0.42 cents/rd- as opposed to the 0.55-0.70 cents/rd for most of the Boxer stuff that's out there.

No reason to buy Surplus when new production Prvi Partisan is comparably priced or cheaper.  Check out Wideners......
"Today, we need a nation of Riflemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are
willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom."

Prvi Partisan is new production, boxer primed, non-corrosive and should be good stuff. I use PP brass for my reloading  of certain calibers, like 7.62x54R. They also make brass for Graf and Hornady.
They have men amongst them who know very well what they are about, having been employed as Rangers against the Indians and Canadians and this country being much covered with wood, and hilly, is very advantageous for their method of fighting. . . . ".  Lord Percy

Sounds like New Englanders to me.

AIM has some pretty good pics of it. It appears to be de-linked. You can see the marks from the links on the brass casings. Typically de-linked ammo will be mixed lots and possibly mixed head stamps. I had some german DAG from the old Paragon Co. and it was great if not a little on the hot side.
