Title: FREE NRA 1 Year membership. Join now. Let congress see our numbers are strong.
Post by: Trainfriend on May 05, 2009, 12:39:04 PM
Save your guns.............
If we don't stand united, we will fall one by one. This is a good deal.

Share the wealth and send this to your friends. The more, the better.....

The NRA is giving FREE 1-yr memberships to everyone who wants to join.

They are trying to build up their membership to fight pending legislation
that impacts our right to keep and bear arms.

It is very important that anti-gun congressmen see how many people they will
have to fight to get their legislation through.

PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW!!!

This can include spouses and children also.

must be losing membership to GOA over their poor performance as of late?

A and B ratings (http://waronguns.blogspot.com/2006/10/nras-rated-citizen-disarmament.html) for anti-gun (http://waronguns.blogspot.com/2007/11/another-nra-rated-candidate.html) and/or pro-brady bill (http://www.gunownersalliance.com/Badgrade.htm) politicians?

backfired PR stunts for beltway attention like "project exile (http://keepandbeararms.com/information/XcIBViewItem.asp?ID=720)?"

supporting the nomination of former waco deputy a.g. under reno and clinton, eric holder (http://forum.prisonplanet.com/index.php?topic=71693.0)?

perhaps best of all, trying to keep Heller away from the u.s. supreme court (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/District_of_Columbia_v._Heller#National_Rifle_Association)?

at any rate, at least the lairds of fairfax (http://sipseystreetirregulars.blogspot.com/2009/01/casus-belli-brady-bunch-declares-war.html) are acknowledging that they need to offer what they do for us -- if you can call it that -- for free.

and thank you for pointing this out, it is good intel. certainly everyone ought to go and give the NRA at least one chance.

however.

if all you want is to be part of the vast number of americans letting congressmen know what they come up against when they railroad america with anti-gun agendas, you're clearly better off spending your money on ammo than on renewing that membership or donating.

and maybe, from time to time, write your representatives the occasional letter yourself: let them know you aren't going to disarm, register, or comply with other infringements.
