Title: AAR Sacramento CA June 11-12
Post by: NorCal22Gal on June 20, 2022, 01:39:55 AM
Summer and spring in the same weekend...welcome to June in  Northern CA.....

The weather didn't bother the 13 Patriots who came out to learn and better their skills!!!

It was great to have 2AR's and a Garand on the line Saturday!

It was truly amazing to watch people learn and put what they learned to work.

History was well told and fun to tell.

A brief rain shower Sunday morning was a bit unexpected, but was done before we began shooting.  These folks were focused and it showed.  Their groups got smaller, positions looked great and all were having a great time.

We had 2 Riflemen, Craig with 222 & 215 and Bill (finally at a 25 yd event) with a 210!!!  Congrats to both of you!!
^:)^
A big shout out to Fardia...not much experience with a rifle and went from not on paper to putting some very nice groups out there!!  Good job Lady!!!! :--- :---

A huge thanks to everyone for helping us clean up.

Huge thanks to the instructors for coming out.  You guys rock as usual!!

Books we talked about:

Paul Revere's Ride & Washinton's Crossing both by David Hackett-Fischer

That was a great weekend, shooting back-to-back Rifleman scores after missing out by 3 points previously was very rewarding!

Now to try again with Irons at a future event.  Congrats Bill on the 25 yd Rifleman and the shower!  ;D

Thank you to you and your team,

Craig.
