Post by: Mark Davis on March 23, 2009, 02:00:45 AM
Met a couple aware Americans at meeting Sat. Due to the efforts of Teton they were eager to attend upcomming appleseed at Sam Whittmore. Saw them today at the range. They were plinking with AR and SKS I asked them to shoot redcoats with Teton and I.
They had a such a good time they shot the target again. (Severe lack of appleseed targets out here) The wind was picking up and and the sky darkening as information was passed on position, sling use, trigger control, NPOA, breathing, follow through. I should have told 'em about the six steps, but ole cloddy is to retarded to repeat them. When asked about the first step, to me it's foot position.
We shot at some old National Guard targets, and made tentive plans to meet next week. Hopefull one can make rifleman in May. The other has some vision difficultys needing worked out.

CH, nice to see you're still in the business of "passing the tradition on..."

We're gonna have to fit you with a red hat, one day.

     :)
