It was tempting to post this in AAR as we came together with quite a few instructors both active and inactive at the SmoAk Celebration of Life. The first speaker said some amazing things about SmoAk as well as Appleseed. For those who knew Smoak, Appleseed was very much part of his DNA.
The family requested us setting up an AS table in the Fellowship Hall where food was served after the service and answered questions. A poster of the first Ladyseed in Fl held on Smoak property was at the table.
The Trail Life boys, near and dear to Smoaks heart, want another event at Smoak property in the spring.
Here's the permanent you tube link to the service

The memorial table.
Setting up the buffet, with lots to choose from.
It's not an Appleseed event if you're not seventh-stepping.
The all-important desert table. Smoak would have approved.
You're not in the south if you don't have sweet tea and lemonade.
Evidence of a life well-lived in Appleseed.
A meal shared in memory of a dear friend.
A chance to reconnect with old friends.
Everybody loves mashed potatoes.
Thanks for all the pictures. I wish I could have been there for the Celebration.
