Florida was a little late to the game when it comes to pistol shoots. Our first shoot was held in Myakka City Fl on January 16th of this year. Well we have come a long way in a short time. Florida now has regularly scheduled pistol events at 3 ranges and at least one more range that has hosted an event this year. More ranges are scheduled to come on line next year as our instructor base grows.
We are not stopping there. Next weekend Hollywood Florida will set the standard for pistol events with the largest pistol shoot in Appleseed history. We will be hosting 24 shooters with 11 instructors working the event.
That is a lot of moving parts but with a great instructor crew we will have a wonderful weekend. Keep your eyes out for the IAAR. Hopefully we will have some good tips for those looking to break Myakkas record of 24 shooters.

That is awesome - congrats! The Pistol aspect may not be for everyone, but no one can deny it has absolutely given the program another opportunity to tell the story of our heritage and inspire more of our citizens to grab a bucket and bail! Well done!
