Post by: GTEngineer on September 08, 2021, 12:53:24 AM
I just learned one of our fellow volunteer has been hospitalized with a severe case of COVID, his wife is currently at home but also is sick with the virus.  Please join me in praying for Norm and his wife for a speedy and smooth recovery.

from a prayer in the 1789 Book of Common Prayers, 1st US Prayer Book

O FATHER of mercies and God of all comfort, our only help in time of need; Look down from heaven, we humbly beseech thee, behold, visit, and relieve thy sick servant for whom our prayers are desired. Look upon him with the eyes of thy mercy; comfort him with a sense of thy goodness; preserve him from the temptations of the enemy; give him patience under his affliction; and, in thy good time, restore him to health... through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Just an update, Norm was discharged from the ICU and is at home recovering, he is out of the danger zone but still has a lengthy road of recovery in front of him.  Thank you all for your prayers.  We will continue to pray for Norm's speedy recovery.
