We're still alive and well in north central Arkansas and shooting matches at the VETS Shooting Center. We are pretty much just shooting 600 yards on the NRA 600 yard High Power target. I shoot prone with sling, but we welcome other categories too, with a few shooting in F Class and F T/R as well.
In spite of the heat and humidity, we managed to display some fine marksmanship, even if I do say so myself. We have been shooting regular matches on the E-Target range for over two years now and have a good amount of regular competitors, always a good time! On the steel range, we have been shooting there for over ten years.
By the way, the VETS Shooting Center, has hosted Appleseeds since they opened ten years ago, with multiple events scheduled there over the years. A fine place to be a member of.
As always, I invite all of those who happen to be in our AO and want to shoot on the E-Target range or on the steel range, give us a shout, we'll likely saddle up and meet you at the range.

Thanks, I've not hit the 250 again at an event, but have a few times in practice at home. I average in the 240's with bolt and semi-auto's, centerfire and rimfire, but that 250 is further away than one might think than just a few points!
