Huzzah! We've held our first pistol clinic in VA! This was a private shoot so that the Virginia pistol instructor cadre could work through the syllabus. It went GREAT! Six pistol students (4 of whom are either red hats or blue hats) assembled with our 4 pistol instructors and had a fine time working through the pistol syllabus. Messer shot Pistoleer™ with very respectable scores of 221 and 222, Rod (one of our two "outsiders") came -very- close with a 207 as did FaithOverFear with a 205.
Many lessons were learned and some rough edges knocked off. A fine day!

And a follow up... Rod came over this afternoon and we shot a bit. A 208 and then... a 230! Woot!

Actually it was a Ruger, but I can confirm it had the cool ring thing (which they also make for Buckmarks).
