Valentine's Day didn't seem to impact the turnout for this sold-out event. We reduced the round count whenever possible giving the students the option to shoot 3 rounds on squares. Those working on their IMC tended to shoot 5 rounds. Three junior shooters, Malachi, Daniel, and Patrick displayed a strong work ethic and scores improved accordingly. Everyone's scores continued to climb as more Sharpshooters were exposed. The importance of properly fitted equipment was discovered the hard way. We have a number of believers in dry practice now. With some dry practice we will see Rifleman scores soon. We were joined Sunday by Kevin, a Rifleman, who requalified three of five tries. He was kind enough to share his history on the road to Rifleman since 2009.
Thanks for putting on such a great event. It was my first Appleseed but surely not my last. I told the Shoot Boss that I didn't even know what I didn't know until attending this event. I have lots of stuff to work on and lots of practice ahead. Thanks for all the help

Glad you enjoyed it, Mike. Look forward to seeing you on the line again.
