Title: AQT practice with AR Match Rifle
Post by: Quinncannon on January 23, 2021, 09:26:48 AM
After last weekends terrific Appleseed, I decided it's time for a little centerfire shooting on KD and a couple of AQT's. I arrived at the Vets Shooting Center bright and early and met ArcEagle14, who was ready to zero a rifle in on the 100 yard range.

I quickly unloaded my gear and set up on the KD steel target range. I unlimbered my 26 inch barreled match AR and went to ringing steel! After expending rounds out to 500 yards, I decided to shoot a couple of reduced AQT's.

First one, I shot a 247, the next a 241, properly timed and shot per the rules. I find shooting these AR's to be easier than shooting my CZ 452 bolt action! Anyhow, I'll shoot this AR at the next shoot in Menifee, Arkansas. Looking forward to it!

For all those who happen to be in our AO, and want to shoot with some old hand Appleseeders, give us a shout, we'll likely saddle up and meet you at the range!

Quinncannon, out.
