I am interested in getting a 1903A3 and am researching them.
I keep looking at gunbroker and of course they go from ~$600 to a couple of thousand dollars.
Some I see from time to time are from US Armament Corp; they are supposed to be rebuilt from surplus receivers with new stocks and barrels. Blah, blah, blah...
The special grade Garand I have from the CMP is basically the same concept, so I guess really, what's the difference?
I am not tied to the idea of having one that was "issued"; not sentimental about it at all.
Completely rebuilt is fine with me.
In fact, I think I prefer it.
I don't have any real reason to be too concerned, it's just that I have not heard of them before a couple of months ago.
Anyone with experience or knowledge of them that could set me at ease?
Thanks,
Greg

Never heard of the company but it seems like a solid rifle with a really good barrel. I would risk $1000 on it. If you work up a good load with some 168 grain hallow point boat tails it should be a shooter.
Greetings All,
Just cruised their website, they've got alot of neat stuff. Makes me wish I had a deeper pocket...

They partnered with Colt to bring back a reproduction of the 1903 Pocket Pistol. From everything I've read, it was a faithful, reliable, high quality product.
OK, cool.
This all helps me be more comfortable with making a purchase from them.
Thanks all.
