MK1765 will instruct, StevenK will shoot boss. Instructors have been selected to assist.
NOTE: Adults only as per AS Manual (NOTE: This is an Appleseed insurance consideration).
WE RECOMMEND bringing a .22, but certainly bring what you have. NOTE- AS per manual/insurance considerations Appleseed does not have a pistol loaner program. Participants must arrange to have their own firearm. Semi-auto or revolver is welcome.
This program has gone through substantial revisions since it was original conceived 5 years ago. The scope and techniques have changed significantly, based on the comments and experiences of Appleseed instructors who have substantial experience instructing both marksmanship- oriented and defense-oriented pistol classes.
This was originally intended to be a defensive pistol class. But doing a real defensive pistol class opened us to a range of issues that seemed impossible to overcome in a new program. So, we compromised and created a unique pistol program designed to lay the foundation for someone seeking to learn to shoot defensively.
